I ride a GSA and on a brisk mountain day ride I take a flask, butties and tool kit. I have been rolling down a 35ltr bag but that’s a bit overkill. So I’m looking for something like a rally pack 5ltr or thereabouts to strap to the back frame.

I’ve come across this Kreiga US-5 which could work.

But I wondered what solutions you fellas might have, but like I say something small?

Thanks
Glenn

The US 5 is very small

The 10 is better for your needs

Having said all that Roadrash rider has an enduristan tail pack thing and it looks very good and would do what you need

Another Kriega recommendation here. And it's fully waterproof, so no worries about wet sandwiches! :D

US10 is the one to go for, it rolls down fairly small. I have two which I stack on the RH pannier top, one for two sets of waterproofs, the other for a few bare essentials on the ferry.

I bought mine on here, they are regulars

US10 might be a better shout.

Or you could go full tosser and get a Bumot tool box on the inside of your panier rails then pop the food in an SW Motech tank bag. Delightful.

Or a touratech/Cymarc toolbox to fit inside your pannier frame.

This looks good https://www.kfm-motorraeder.de/cms/en/genuine-spare-parts/bmw-spare-parts?itemid=77498562632

Winding Roads do some good Wolfman (USA) ones which are good too

I bought a wolfman tank bag once and it was the cheapest nastiest bit of kit for a big price that i have ever seen

It was so nasty and badly made i got rid without ever having used it

Really ?

The opposite to my evaluation ?

I have the Wolfman Enduro Tankbag and a tail pack that have seen 5-10 years hard use on my Enduro bike, being drowned, dropped, crashed, snagged by bushes & trees and covered in all manner of mud & shite (far harder use than on a road bike)

It still looks like new and nothing has broken

A good feature is that the Wolfman stuff has quilted nylon padding inside and provides some level of shock & vibration protection

Sorry you were disappointed

Giant Loop also do some good stuff

Thanks all,

Redrick, I know it’s only 15cm high but I was looking for even more streamline in height at least. I picked up on PH’s thread and see he was looking for the same solution. Here is road rash’s Enduristan tail pack - prefer a bit flatter.

Fredaroony that looks like the 12ltr Enduristan bass pack I think?
