Small tail pack recommendations please

Ah ok, thanks fredaroony, it’s the same as Redrick’s. Literally I’m just looking for a rally pack size whatever that means.

Bit late in to this, the Endurostan tail pack on my bike is 8ltr, if I was to put a tool kit compressed and disk lock in you might squeeze in a pair of gloves. It’s not that big.

It’s bomb proof, and totally waterproof, good as a day bag but it would be a bit tall if it way on the pillion seat.

Thanks Road rash. A lot of fellas have said go bigger to say 10ltr even. I’m old school and would like to see these packs in the flesh first to gauge what I think is right. So I shall be mooching around the stores. Probably end up with a Mozzers bag for life :blast

I can post more pictures of mine if you want them.

This is for the G310 but would work well as a small bag for the GS

Thanks for the input everyone. So for other researchers on the subject, I have boiled it down to 3 options, bearing in mind, I’d prefer to get it onto the rack of a GSA which is 20w at the narrow end x26L (measurements in cm).

Kriega US 10ltr
33L x 24W x 12H approx £69

Kriega os 6 adventure 6ltr
32L x 20W x 19H approx £65

Enduristan XS basepack 6.5ltr
32L x 17W x 12H approx £44

I use the Kriega OS-6 Bags on the Africa Twin crash bars.... they've been hammered, but still going strong. Highly recommended.

A US 10 is most definite what you require. You were thinking of the US5 prob because the dimensions will make it fit the rear rack. The US10 is much better and rolls up ,so any free space will be rolled over ,therefore making it smaller than the dimensions above. Somedays you might want to add a Mars bar to your butties and Flask, which would be really squashed in a US5, Tomato sauce drilling out the sides into the bag etc , That will be the day you wished you bought the US10.

around £65 new on line .

Chinese rip-off

I bet Kriega are not too happy about this. Almost identical 10ltr day pack and from other videos seems to hold up to the events too. Difference is £30 v £69.

I have this Moto-Detail from Louis Moto....approx 6 ltrs and less than £20. Excellent wee bag, can’t really fault it.

Can’t go wrong with a kreiga. Love mine been across desserts and they are just super tough. Brilliantly designed and over all great bike led kit.

Good luck.

Yeah...I think it will be Kriega 10ltr......now which one of you lot is selling one? :D

Also late to this. I have kreiga and love them. 2k round Europe last year two on the tail of my s1000r. And 10l on the back of a gs across Africa through deserts and 3k off road was flawless. I also say buy once buy right.

Kriega are great, as long as you’ve got stuff in them, otherwise they can flap about a bit.

For my multi, I didn’t want a top box, so went for an SW Motech Ion S, which has rigid sides, and expands if you need it to.
