A biiiiiiiiggggggggggggggggg "Thanks" to Paul at SMD Tyres, Leigh, Lancs.
I had a major malfunction with a BT020 last year which got sorted with Paul's help, when........knock me down (OK then, crash me bike) the same feckin thing happened again with the replacement BT020. (Huge egg-like lump came up on the sidewall which rubbed against the swinging arm and made a funny smell as well as making the LT wobble in a scary sort of way. (70MPH two-up!) I believe they call it de-laminating. Less than 6,000 miles from new, 5mm of tread left, no sports bike here thankyouverymuch.
(This is the reinforced Radial for monsters like my LT or a wing, not yer common or garden 020, so don't fret!)
Paul sorted it immediately and took the matter in hand to Bridgestone UK who didn't want to know from me.
Tyre replaced immediately no questions!
Many thanks indeed for brilliant service. 10/10 for looking after me and filling me with coffee whilst his staff changed the tyre. In and out in 30 minutes.
