Smelly Jacket Advice

Chaps,
I recently bought an old Belstaff Tourmaster off eBay. It's in great nick but my one problem is that it is seriously stinking. I realize that they all stink a bit but this one is seriously humming. I've covered it with fabreze numerous times and have hung it outside to air, but it's still minging. Any miracle cures out there ? I was thinking about putting it through the washing machine on a genle wash then re-waxing it ?

make sure it's a cool wash, i washed one on a hot wash and it took me many washes to get all the wax residue out of the washing machine!! i then nik waxed it,but in my opinion it has lost it's original patina and doesn't look good.....smells great tho!! will be putting it on ebay soon!

If the pong is caused by bacteria try putting it in the deep freeze for a couple of days

If you put the jacket in the washing machine you can say goodbye to the jacket ( normally states on the label not machine washable) , you will never will re wax the jacket as it was originally.
What is possible is to take the lining out , wash that . Clean the inside of the jacket than refit the lining.
