SMH5/10 Rider to Pillion with 2 phones

So, I think I've narrowed my Bluetooth system choice down to the two Sena ones above.

I think I'll be going for the 5, although the 10 does have the option to use an earpiece, instead of the velcro-backed speakers, for which I'd use something like this:

...along with a molded plug for the other ear.

My question is this: SWMBO wants to have her phone paired with her headset (for music), and I want to have mine paired with my phone (for Google Maps voice prompts, and the odd bit of music). Is this possible, while still retaining intercom functionality?

Also, do these Sena units have some kind of VOX activation, or are they PTT using the jog wheel?

Yes, you can do what you want. Each set is independent with regards to its own music source. To speak you push the button to open the channel and then push again when finished.

I have an SMH10 for sale for £95 including shipping. It is the type with the speakers and the wired microphone for use in a full face lid. It has the clamp mount, but you can buy a stick on mount.

My SMH10R has VOX, so I assume the SMH10 will have it too
