but not by bike.
today she was cutting some plastic with a "sharp" penknife because she couldn't find any scissors.
ends up cutting her left index finger almost down to the bone:eek::eek:
we have been in treliske hospital since lunchtime as our local doctor and local hospital didn't want to deal with it?? just got back ,midnight , still not gone to surgery, tendon damaged but they are going to repair that when they re-open the wound which must be all but healed by now!!
left her laid in bed in the ward with no food, no drink because they could operate at anytime? what a f*ck**g joke:spitfire:spitfire.

That's bad news Brett. Hopefully the hospital staff involved will get their shit together today and sort out Nina's hand.
Fingers crossed it goes OK with the tendon repair.

Sorry to hear that...

I'm sure she is in the best place and the staff are real stars at Treliske and I'm sure they are doing all they can for her...

Give her our best wishes and heres to a speedy recovery...

Nate

Best wishes to Smiler

I have a funny story for her to cheer her up

I was out doing a van sales run, selling carparts accessories and paint / bodyshop stuff

I sold a guy a pair of serated tin snips (never buy these Spend the extra and get a pair of Gilbow or Footprints!)
Anyway He complained they were shite and I said you're using them wrong ya muppet!
Having done training in Sheet metal work and being a dab hand "Give Em Here!" Says I!

I get's the bit he'd marked and started to cut and all was well It was going well when someone tripped on the edge of the tin sheet and spun the sheet round at me!!!11

Due to the serated edge the tin dug in and was like a steak knife and opened me to the bone on 2 fingers worst of all on the "Bird" finger That's why I say never buy the serated edge ones!

Anyway in Hospital and bandaged up and waiting a cinsultant and me poor ould Da in Law (Lord Rest His Soul) leads my wife and "The Growler!" in at this point I realise that
The nurses instructions of "Keep your hand elevated" and the way I was bandaged meant that anyone coming thru the door was immediately given the bird! Oops Poor Ould Ken Was quite shocked!

Anyway T'was funny at the time

Good Luck with fingers "Smiler"

Hi Nina, sorry to hear of your injury. You will just have to put your feet up and let Brett look after you, take care and hope you mend well.:thumb
