Christmas Eve is the traditional Smithfield meat market auction when the traders sell off their meat ..
I’ve been to couple a few years ago, but now it’s got huge .. today apparently was mad… turkeys £10, legs of pork £15 and whole sides of beef £50 ..
if you are thinking of going next year, be warned, it’s cash only

I previously purchased half a Welsh salt marsh lamb, might need a few more freezers to accommodate a side of beef. Sounds good though.
