I’ve just gone to fit a Puig touring screen to my GS. The missus had bought it for me as a surprise Christmas gift. So, I open the box…. It’s for an RS…
No dramas but I need to exchange it. It’s a clear screen and I wondered if anyone reading has a part tint or fully tinted touring screen on theirs and if so, what’s the view (pardon the pun)? I think the smoked would be nice aesthetically but I’m not sure on whether it restricts the view to a point where it’s a nuisance. Thoughts? Stick with clear or move to a tint?

Smoked on mine. Looks much better than the clear IMO.

I've got the givi light tint on my GSA and i would suspect the Puig is similar, size wise the givi is almost identical to the standard clear original.

Looks wise, i like the light tint and can still see through it without it being a nuisance. Money well spent from my perspective. I think if it was a dark tint that might change my opinion though on a tall screen.

Just outside the title question but I’ve got a Puig dark tint (black) on my GSA.
My preference and matches my visor, wheels, top box etc.

Able to see through the screen too. (Always handy….)

I have a tinted MRA on mine. I Like the look and don't notice the tint when riding TBH, even at night, I'm looking over it most of the time. It's kind of like not noticing the tint through the back windows of the car from the inside.

I too had an MRA tinted screen on my GS, never had an issue.
That said I’m undecided at the mo whether to fit it to my GSA.

Smoked MRA with matching winglets and handguard extensions on mine. No issues seeing through it.

My LC had a black smoked screen as stock, it was changed for a clear item mra item if i recall. With the added lip deflector

Puig Touring Light Smoke for me
I ordered Smoke and it was so dark that I couldn’t see through it , so returned it .

I had a dark tinted Puig on my old GS and found it hard to see through on undulating roads, especially when it was mucky. The light tinted one I have now on my GSA is much easier to see through. The first photo doesn’t really emphasise the difference.
