Smokey startup

I get a big puff of grey smoke when i start up my 1150gs, the BMW garage reckon it's fine and running perfect, anyone else get this? Is it really ok? It only happens in about 1 in 4 times i start up, and it lasts for about 5 seconds before it's clear. It looks rediclious when i start up in a busy shopping area.

This usually happens when parked on the side stand as oil runs past the rings whilst it's stationary.

No you won`t.

Just use the centre stand as much as possible.

Get yerself a K75 and leave that on the side stand, a smoke screen that would make James bond proud!
