Today I chucked my bike down the road- We have 2 foot of snow up here in the Cairngorm mountains, and I stupidly left my bike out over night, I had to dig it out and unfreeze the lock- cleared some snow to take it round the back to the garage- I had to drive up and over the back of the house and as I came down the hill the other side- the front wheel slid out and the bike sideways for 10 metres- luckily I did not get caught with it- but I have put a long scratch on my heppco gaurds (better them than the cylinder heads!!) i THEN WHEEL-SPAN ALL THE WAY FROM THE GATE TO THE GARAGE IN VERY DEEP SNOW- Does anybody do road friendly knobbly tyres? I know the TKCs are supposed to be good but they dont last- any chunky tyre reccommendations? Anyone else been out in the snow on their GS?
