SNOWDONIA off road ride. Sunday 4th March

Relegated..

Code:
if you want to come on a big GS you'll need to be pretty handy

Nutts, I think that relegates me from the ride.. oh well bike is in for service and repairs on saturday, so probably best to give it a day or so before braking it again..

Fanum.. its amazing how entertaining a GS/GSA can be.. I think I spent as much time looking up at the world from the ground as I did riding the thing on Timpo's trip  , but I wouldnt have missed it for the world. Have fun.. :D

Got my eye on an as new 2004 FE380e at the mo.......hmmmm

That not quite how I heard it, I've heard you have been 'told' to buy it:D
A sleeved down 450 to 380 for trail riding would be very useable

BTW sell me steering damper off the old one;)

Oh, very funny, cheeky git. :)

Test rode a 380 this morning...absolutely fantatsic, hooked! So tractable, smooth, linear, useable and still pull yer face off! I'm waiting on a phone call.......;)

And no, the damper would be required.....experts like you dont need them anyway! Allegedly :thumb2

Very funny. Git :o

Well, I've had the call.....the deal is done.

All being well, I'll be bringing my new 380 on Sunday!!

One point, can everyone make sure they arrive at Pentrefoilas fueled up.
If your coming from the north the nearest garage is Betws y Coed, from the south (A5) about 5 miles. Over Denbigh moor, miles away:)

Did the route today just to check suitablity for the bigger bikes

Big Bikes?

Hmmmm,

Just read your other post with your 650 stuck up to the tank!

Is Tina still buiried up there or did you manage to get your 'helper' out of that huge hole!

I can just see the HP disappearing with a few bubbles marking it's exit....

Cheers, Worried Rick.

I was going to see if there was any spaces left but you have already answered my question. hope to see you again soon.

Tim,

All is looking good.

Had a call from Clarkey, they are finishing screwng it all together this afternoon so should be ready for collection in the morning :o

Cant wait for Sunday now; playtime!!!

Sorry chaps, but as it stands I'm not going to be able to make it now :(

Waiting for some money to clear.....it should have been in last night but it isn't....I even put some brand spanking TKC's on this morning in preparation but when they refused my card, I discovered that things aren't going to plan.

I've just spoken to Tim and I'll come up if it clears tonight (it's possible) but as it stands, looks like I'm going to miss a cracking weekend :(

Have fun :thumb

If it looks like anyone is going to be late arriving, my mob is 07967 301096 but be aware that reception is marginal.

i'm not going to make it

having a few starting issues with the prilia, won't start and running the battery flat so tonight i'm removing the lights and horn and all the leccy bits that are draining the battery. i'm also looking at an upgraded battery so it'll not be a problem in the future. Tim if all goes well can I join you all next weekend in gollan.:o pretty please.....
