Snowdonia trail ride beats HP2 shock horror

Well done guys..

Looks like a cracking day out guys.. well done all. Hope I can join in once more in the near future..

Dried Out Now

Tim,

Thanks for another cracking day out!

Both Gareth and myself had a great time dispite the worst hangover I can remember and rain pelting us like shotgun pellets all day. Throw in a wresling bout with a a monster bike on the slippiest wet and rocky hills Tim could find and you have a recipe for the perfect day out......

Finally feel warm and dry now but I have just looked out of my window at the trailer loaded with two filthy bikes and it is still pissing down this morning. Ah well, back on with the wet waterproofs (yuk!) and out with the pressure washer...

Will bring the 1200 GSA next time just to make things interesting......not!

Cheers to all the crew who turned up yesterday and not least to Tina who showed me how it should be done on a few of the hills!

Till next time,

Rick.

Tim,

Thanks for leading the day, had a tremendous time with great company and stunning countryside and riding.

Love the new bike, one or two teething problems for DCR to fix over the next couple of weeks but can categorically say already boy did I do the right thing getting it; its brilliant.

Hopefully be dry by next time!!

Oh, and the dye came off ;) so Im somewhat jaded today!!!

Gareth

Not as young as I was

If it's any consolation I'm a wreck this morning:rob :rob :rob .

Up during the night throwing up, head aches, every muscle in my body burning.
I couldn't physically get out of bed until midday and that never happens:confused: .
Bikes are still on the trailer.:(

So I guess it was a good day then:D

Just need to recover in time for Timpo's ride next saturday:eek:

I would just like to say a very big thank you for inviting us along yesterday.

I throughly enjoyed myself :clap , it was just a pity we had to cut the day short.

gutted

at first i saw the photo's and thought "arw bastard wish i'd got to that" then remembering how hard hanging on to the prilla was on sunday afternoon maybe i was lucky. well she's running well but jesus it's a handful, better in the dry than the wet as i'm now comming to the conclusion it's not got a throttle but some joker in italy fitted it with a switch. how does wheelspin in fifth at 75mph on a firebreak sound. it's that bad i've pulled the body armour out of retirement. well see yer next week, bring a good first aid kit please:o

Scary..

sycomoto you should see those little yellow hussyburgy things Timloga et al are mounted on go! Light as hell and wayyyy powerfull...lol.

oh saw an HP2 on the road twice on saturday.. looked all shiny.. I call that bike abuse. :D

Dee Tee, it just goes to prove that men never grow up.. some of us like playing in mud now just as much as we did when we were kids, only difference is, go a bit faster, spend money to do it and bounce as well..

I did a bit of Speedway and Grass Track when i was young and foolish, but since then have stuck to Road Hooliganism.I had a go as a Travelling Marshall at a local MX meet, but decided Off Road ain't fer me !

You kids had a fun day out - good!:thumb2
I love to see pictures like that!:clap

Hew: -Is there a picture showing your HP2 on the MotoGuzzi sidecar here somewhere? Hopefully with a lot of mud on it.

:) Liv.

Hi Liv,
I don't think that even in this bad photograph my KLX looks like a HP2 but I can dream:D

Thank you!

HP2 or something green with two wheels - it's not that different.:augie
Well, it was the sidecar I wanted to see, and there it is - GREAT!
One rider, two bikes!:thumb2
All us kids need toys, not a toy.

:) Liv.
