This years annual Snowrun is planned for 28th December starting at Abergavenny bus stop.

We'll be off at 10.00 am so please try to be on time.

This run can be difficult in places as the weather is generally rather cold at this time of the year so its not for the faint hearted.

We will be running the same unfinished route as last year so be prepared for slippery/icy conditions.

Post up if your coming so we can get an idea of the numbers.

10 and counting

Road to purgatory?????

:beerjug:Sorry boyos but I will be absent this year as I am working Christmas and not back home till the 30th.
Good luck to all that do attend, wrap up warm if it's anything like last year.
I was chilled to the "bone"!!!
Believe me, you don't want your "bone" chilled. It's not pleasant.
Keep it shiney side up.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all fellow two wheelers.

hmmm would love to, pretty tempted, quite certain that the run from Ammanford to Abergaveny would be a challange especially as I most likey to still be riding the Falco :eek I have ridden a few sports bikes in the snow to and from work but that was 'dan souf' which was not likely to be half as bad as here? What do ya recon guys? was last years messey? Snow on the ground is one thing but cutting 6" of snow for 60 miles with a sports tyre is not so appealing. :blast

If its six inches of snow you'll be on your own :D

It'll be mainly B roads and a bit of tight snottly tarmac lanes.
Nothing that the Falco couldn't handle.

Last year just happened to be a bit iceeeeey in places with a bit of a drop if you got it wrong on the hairpins.

It really wasn't that bad, just lots of shiny bikes.
