SNUGPAK sleeping bag's,any good?

hi,has any one used these,i'm looking at the sleeper extreme -12
any advice on bag's,i'm 6.4 and need a bit of room

I`ve got 2 Snugpak jackets one of whch I`ve hd 11 years & they use the same insulation in the sleeping bags as in the jackets. So I should think they are very good
I suffer from the same problem as you being rather tall so actually going to an outdoor shop & trying a bag would be a good idea as what I might think is ok might be no good for you at all.
The current army issue bags are very good IMO, loads of room if you get a long one but don`t pack down too small

army snugpack bag

have a british army "snugpack softie 3 merlin" bag. (buy them new for £55 / £60 in a decent army surplus store).

very warm bag - good quality, i would def. buy another.

scrunches up to a tiny package (good for squishing into you back box) -

but i'm only 5'7" (average height isn't it??) - don't really know about you freakishly tall people and how a snugpack might be for you. . .

snugpak tactical 4 in fact can be a bit to warm. snugpak also do an 'extender' panel if width is a bit of a problem

totally recommend snugpak, ive had a 5 season bag for 14 years! slept outside in january with just pants on!! AND woke up with frost on my sleeping bag!! still snug inside
