I've got a June2005 R1200GS with heated grips and ABS. It's now got 7,000miles on it. A good clean bike.

I want to upgrade to a R1200ADV in 12months time.

How much do we think I'll have to save????

I've asked "Mi Dealer" but he's holding back as I reckon he thinks I'll buy one elsewhere.

I just want to know so I can plan.

Plan on getting about 6k as a trade-in, since 6.8 seems to be about standard at the moment.

Not any use in 12 months time but today I have Been shopping round over the phone been offered 7500 and 8k on trade infor
1200gs 05 abs full panniers grips and all that unseen against bikes seen on the bmw web,ie one second hand and one trade for new.
So pays to shop round .
dont know if i'm going to do it though yet.
