Like it says folks

My Windows upgrade loaded a load of new stuff thru the week and did it shutdown start up Keek

BUT Since then the computer shut's down if not used for X hours I haven;t been around to see it shout down to define a time

I've gone in thru Display properties to adjust the Power settings and made sure it's "Always on" and that it is not a portable

Any other suggestions

Sounds like Windows imight be updating automatically?

Go to:

Control Panel > Windows Update > Change Settings>

then alter to "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download them and install them"

or does it merely shutdown each time?
