So what's the difference in engine castings talked about recently?

Despite people saying they would post pictures of the differences between the old and new engine castings, I've not seen any yet.

The man makes a fair point. There are enough pictures of bling how about something useful.

While looking at my new bike at the dealers I compared it with a 2013 bike parked nearby. I could not see any differences, it could be a mod inside the casting such as where the clutch operating mechanism fixes.

Constructed Friday 24 Jan 2014, viewed on the Dealers BMW web site. They have real time tracking of each orders progress.
At the dealers computer connection I could see the parts had been allocated and the day they would be assembled and from that information an exact delivery date was established. The info given was colour, order no, vin no. accessories and extras etc.

But pictures of bling ( or indeed of an entire bog standard steed, straight out of the dealership, or even still in its crate) are what blokes like. It spreads joy unbounded.... And anyway a picture of the outside isn't that informative or useful, if you have no idea what (if anything) went on inside.
