Only once in 10 yeras on a 1150GSA

That's from a 1100, 1150GS, 1200GS, 1200GSA, F650 single and twin and R100GS. Called out them for the 100GS, but we sorted ourselves out

There was a guy on a 1200 adventure parked up on the M25 near J3 yesterday afternoon; anyone from here?

I pulled up to ask if he wanted a hand (still dressed in my Marbella outfit, with suitcase bungeed behind me), but he was waiting for the RAC.

Mine has not missed a beat, although bits are going missing, such as 2/3 of the right passenger footpeg on my journey back from Switzerland.

driver just nodded all the time cos he couldnt speak english
very good driver as i remember
he went 2 miles up the road - stopped and rechecked bike was still secure
re BMW break down assist - faultless
picked up with in 90mins
45mins to Saltzberg
in BMW dealers for 2 hours then on me way

Have you been sticking nails in your tyres again to avoid having to ride your bike when it rains or is windy ?

Been in two - Can't really remember the first one, it was a long time ago - must have been OK though if I can't recall it. Very dead R1100 - these old bikes are pretty unreliable doncha know.

Second one was when I bent the wheel rim on the R1200RT - very pleasant except I was not very complimentary about the (old style) K1200GT only to discover the guy had one.

Recovered by a mate with his motocrosser trailer and 4x4 (bike out of warranty). FPC Failure.

His 4x4 was very comfy after standing at the roadside in Western Australia for 5 hours !!! At least in the UK you're never that far from civilisation.

When my Peugeot 306 DTurbo wiring loom caught fire years ago, the AA truck was very comfy too.
