I noticed there was a pre reg one at Clarks for the bargain price £4300. After much bellyaching and soul searching I decided I wanted to buy it. Phoned up on saturday at 10am to be told it had just been sold....
I spent the rest of the day varying between cursing my bad luck and feeling relieved I hadn't blown £4300 on a bike I didn't need. Well done to whoever grabbed a bargain, I'm not jealous at all.
Well actually I am....

I was looking at that as well - great deal.

I saw Alan Dalzeal at the shoew and nearly made him an offer there. I'm glad in a way as I want something a bit smaller between 250-400 without MT21's fitted;)

AndyT:cool:

It had 1 mile on it - in other words the mechanics pdi blast up and down the ind. est road.

Now I dunno whether to wait for another one (silly), buy a drz400 (sensible and cheap) or buy nothing (even more sensible, but boring)

The XC is a great piece of kit and a proper dualsport

OK it's not a full on pukka Enduro but it's not that far away

Depends how extreme your trailriding is going to get

For 99% of people the XC is enough.............good enough

I was paying nearly £4k for XR400's 5 years ago

So at about £4k it's a steal

Check out AdvRider if you want to see what they can do.............plenty of guys Racing them
