Some authorities claim that alcohol & food can be demarcated on the grounds that one is a drug. Defining a drug as a substance used for medication may or may not exclude alcohol - perhaps much of the original social problem lies within that conundrum.
I see the nanny state make further inroads while personal responsibility is eclipsed - discuss.
