socket size??

Hi-

Ive an F650 2007 and I need to tighten the chain, but im away from home, and the socket set ive got here isnt big enought to loosen the thingy! ( axle nut) Can anyone tell me what size I need please???

M16 nut on the rear axle, takes a 24mm socket. The tensioner allen bolt is M8.
