hi Guys
Could you recommend me some nice Riding socks for the colder days please , I have waterproof boots so thats not an issue. My feet seem to be always cold when riding below 10 degrees .

seen these at NNs, anyone used them ?

When its a bit chilly i use some smart wool ski socks

TK Maxx sometimes have them in but google smartwool and they are available all over the place for about a tenner a pair

Merino is the way to go. Try Costco. They were selling merino socks for a very good price before Xmas.

You must of heard of those socks called Heat Holders well they are superb and now do them in knee length they are 2.2 tog and I just got 3 pairs for £7.99 each loads of colours just in case

I find Heat Holders socks quite sweaty. Warm, but clammy. In my experience, it's not just the socks that affect how warm feet are kept, but also the insole in your boots. If they're effective at insulating, your feet should stay warmer.

Bought these mid week last week, used them yesterday and found them great . Warm enough without being too thick to get your boot on, merino wool so breathable , no sweaty feet too. Happy so far.
