Soft panniers?

I have made my own tail packs from tank bags, as Tims photo of my GS and here was my first attempt on a Guzzi.

Good. but Warning..

They do a good job.

BUT.. we have an incident where a local police (North Wales) officers daughter was killed when hers got caught in her rear wheel having been fitted by her father.. (Cant recall his name)..

They got entangled on the M56 if i recall and she died on the scene.

He tried to take oxford to court. I dont think he won, but it did result in a fitting video being shown in most shops.

If they are fitted correctly they seem a good product. However I have to say I presonally will stick with hard luggage now. If oxford isnt your liking.. try CARGO i have a great tail pack that i used on previous bikes. Its cracking. Very well made and good warranty.

Tardis?

I have a pair of 'Held' cordura (or similar) throwover soft panniers for sale, they're good quality but not waterproof. I've used them for about 10 years and covered many miles with them on the Triumph and later on a Hayabusa. They are secure, 150 mph on the 'busa with no problems. They are a bit grubby but still in good order. I'd like £40 and I'll throw in the matching 2 tier tank bag.

Is that Doctor Who's Tardis sitting on the back seat? :D
