The standard for this event is to hit the throttle, bring the back end round, and lie said steed gracefully on the ground within one bike length

you must remain with 2 paces of the bike and return it up to upright unaided

POints will be awarded for style, artistic interpretation , and panache

The last winner will award discretionary points as required

I’m having elbow surgery this Friday but if it heals quickly enough and I’m allowed to drive again in time I might pop down in the T5, I enjoyed the last one despite getting a bad fever and turning a bit crook at the last event (suspected Covid or proper Flu).

Afternoon all. Just back from a “fuck up in foreign” with a few gentlemen of this Parish, so catching up on stuff.

Unfortunately, I have just found out that I have been asked to race in a quad for the rowing club at a number of Regattas this year, which can only mean two things:

1. The Club has obviously run out of good rowers (or they are all injured) !
2. I won’t now be able to attend this event anymore

Hope everyone enjoys Don’s sausage as much as I did at the last one, and hope the train drivers are kind to you all first thing in the morning!

Hopefully will catch up with you all another time.

that'll be me then. But just as I wanted to see if I could actually pick my bike up, others rushed in. So I don't actually know if I could rescue myself away from Waitrose

Yep it is a no to a traditional braai for me.
But needn’t to worry, I shall live and get by. After all I’ve accumulated some unwelcome belly fat of late that I could do with shaking off.

It is however a British GP that weekend, would be great to watch that.
