I've got TomTom Rider V1, and have already bought the Western Europe maps on SD card. I'm toying with the idea of buying the Rider V2 and have seen the GB version for £270 or the European version for about £320.
Does anyone know if my Western Europe maps SD card will work in Rider V2 so I can save myself the extra £50?

Thanks

I have a charging problem with my TomTom when it's in the bike cradle. I sent it back for them to look at, and as it out of warranty they want 145 Euros to mend it. I've told them to poke it. I'll have a go at mending it, and if I can't I'm defecting to Garmin.
It still works and charges intermittently when on the bike, and it isn't getting worse as I've got a Wunderlich mount; but I do like to over react.:blast

Spray with WD40 & push pins in & out before fitting to cradle.
Works for me; but if the cradle has cracked you've got problems. It's a known problem, see other threads, so you MIGHT get a replacement cradle off them, though I think you're lucky to actually get an answer, even if it's just no.

The cradle's not cracked, just the Rider doesn't line up with the pins well and the cradle allows it to vibrate. It has caused one of the pins to wear and one of the contacts to bullet. Unfortunately it is coming up to being three years old, so they won't mend anything for free.
