Some bloke dropped this off at my place the other day.....

Very nice Si.
Looks new.

I never got the Harley thing but my wife just loves all the big cruisers, the bigger and more chrome the better. This was back in 2015 or 2016 and was the only stand where she wanted to sit on a bike and have a picture taken.

Strange things…

…women, not Harleys

Absolutely spot on............... :blast
I know roughly where it is and more or less who owns it.........just a case of convincing that it needs to come closer to home. Life's work and all that.

Really nice that Si.

I’m fighting the stupid link pipe on mine at the moment (hopefully sorted now) and prepping for our trip to Almeria (should be fun in 46c temps!).

I prefer the twin cam to the M8 in a lot of ways, it has more character imho.
I tend to agree 👍

That's nice Si. :thumb2
As already said, the twin cams are the preferable bike, IMHO.

Cheers only H-D could name the colours….”mysterious red sunglo and cayenne pepper black”

It has a slight rust bubble on the rear “fender” next to the rear light fitting. It hasn’t jacked the paint off but is noticeably proud of the rest of the paint. You have to look hard to see it but I’ll keep my eye on it and get it re sprayed if necessary. (annoys me that sort of thing)
Luckily the paint is readily available.

On a seperate note, if anyone is looking for a H-D independent in my area, other than 2nd City(who understandably are booked up months in advance especially at this time of the year), then look no further than Rev’s Hog at Upton on Severn, between Worcester and Tewkesbury. They have taken over the biz and are both “H-D Master Tech’s” 😉🙄😁 Ex Cheltenham HD, and are very good, friendly and accommodating. One of them (Rory) stripped the gearbox of the RKS that I bought from Hurst in NI that was delivered with no oil in the gearbox( at Hurst’s expense). Rory didn’t have to but asked me for my mobile number and sent me pics of the whole strip down and rebuild for my peace of mind.
Both ride to work on their own Harley’s every day which is nice to see and the coffee is free.

2nd City would still be the go to place for tuning/rolling road as Rev’s don’t have that.

I'm enjoying tinkering with the new to me Road King. So far it's a had a set of Carlini apes, and I've had to fit a new docking system and get a sissy bar and rack (again!) The police seat will be going on soon. Flipfly recommended some tasteful ... LED saddlebag run/brake lights which have been fitted, along with a set of LED headlight and passing lights. (why do they advertise these as "plug and play" and then not include the £1 worth of harness that you need??

I'll take some pics if and when the sun comes out. (y)
