Tyre Size?

You don't say what size you need?. I have spare new GS size tyres but I'm on the wrong side of country but if I can help let me know. GC ( in Fort William) would be the best guy to speak to for local knowledge or help

Cheers ........Grizzly:beerjug:

its a 150 70 17 from a gs1200 :)

Sounds like you are heading South so National Tyres (listed above) would be your best bet. There is a mobile tyre fitter that could collect from National and replace where you are! could be expensive though!
If you get stuck and need my help call me 07826 521 729
Good luck

Got One

Ok, I've got a new 150 Anakee2 in the garage but as I'm in Angus it's maybe not much help - but your welcome to it if you draw a blank elsewhere and you can come up with a plan:rolleyes: I'm on nightshift tonight and sleeping tomorrow!

Cheers .... Grizzly:beerjug:

Sorry we only got back late last night, the BMW puncture kit didn't work overnight so the aa turned up and put some green slime in which did the trick for a temporary job. National tyres in fort William no longer do bike tyres and they suggested a place in Oban! We ended up going north to mitchells in Inverness and got a new one, just an 80 mile round trip for a tyre! Beytiful roads, great views but no bloody tyre stockists!!!!

Thats news to me, so thanks for the update and glad you got home ok and enjoyed the trip.

The number of bikes that pass through here you would think that someone in FortBill would provide the service!

A Bit late mate but one to remember for the future Strathearn tyres in Crieff supply and fit Motor bike tyres mate of mine purchased a set recently and whilst still a wee bit out of your way still in the general direction you were heading

maybe the MOD could put a Sticky on the SS forum re this subject as it's raised it's head before :flag
