I came across this site when looking into the Silent route through Aragon, worth a look if only for inspiration...

It's in foreign, but you friendly web page translator will take care of that :)

We rode the “Silent Route” yesterday / today. Stayed about half way along in the Hostal de La Trucha. Which is geared up for bikers and I thoroughly recommend. I also thoroughly recommend the route too. Fabulous scenery round every bend of which there are loads and mostly great grippy tarmac.

I'll make a note of that place, heading there in October, thanks.

We spent most of today in the mountains round that area. Mountain Cols over 5,000 feet high kept things cool and also made for the most fantastic views. There’s easily several days in that area (north of València, south of Alcañiz and east of Teruel) although like a lot of Spain there’s some very sleepy and run down places - you know the sort of place where the only movement and sign of life is a flea bitten dog scratching it’s ear in the shade. It all has its charm though. Go for the roads and the scenery not the craic.

Sums up my view of the area completely. I can't wait to return, and we'll be detouring through that area in July (though in the car not on the bike this year).
