Hey - just visited i-BMW.com and now back with some interresting news:
As you may know, "the servos and abs failed" on the new K1200S of Miles Miller (i-bmw.com), leaving him on "residual" braking. He is back with an interresting update of his case, so far the second case of failing servos and ABS on brand new BMW K1200S motorbikes in the States:
As far as I know these hydraulic units are out of stock at BMW and you have to wait at least one week in Germany to get a replacement part according to German sources. The official explanation for that is that all hydraulic units are needed for production of new beemers.
"he thought BMW was working on some kind of upgrade for the brake system"
Does anyone know what these guys at Southsound BMW are talking about? Does this sound like a recall?
