Some minor R1300GS Vario luggage issues?

Hi does anyone with a Vario top box or the new vario panniers have a problem with the top box lid not closing without it being pressed down really hard? Also the pannier handle sits up above the pannier, this doesn't affect functionality, it just looks like it's not pushed down properly.

Yes to both. Gravity certainly isn't enough to lock the topbox, close then firm press required.

I have the pannier handle issue, raised at one side and find it irritating after waiting a year to get them.
I’ve twisted mine in the open position and then it briefly sits flat, then lifting again.

Thanks guys, I have mentioned it to my dealer but it'll probably just be "the way it is".... Minor issues, just would expect better quality really.
