Jockser, Daithi and his brother are in Ouarzazate collecting their hire bikes and getting ready to head off tomorrow.

From what I can gather they will be riding 2 x 250's and a 600 which only has a fuel range of 180km.

What Jockser needs to know is;

Can fuel be obtained readily between Azilal and Imilchil?

Apparently it is a journey of just over 200km which is beyond the range of the 600.

Hopefully someone here will know and I can text Jockser the answer.

Thanks in advance.

It is difficult to get fuel in that area. We needed some to the south of there at Agoudal after being reassured that fuel would be available. a lad was sent off with a 5 gall drum on his push bike and arrived a few hours later with some.:D

I would have thought they could ask whoever they are hiring the bikes from or carrying a spare gallon on the bike:nenau

If they are trying the direct route and heading east from the Cathedral and up Asif Melloul, then the answer is probably no, but then it's not as far as 200km anyway (the sign near the Gite at the Cathedral says Imilchil is 96km). Best thing would be to take some spare fuel in an empty bottle and refill the tank after riding for a couple of hours.

There's normally (leaded) fuel near Imilchil.
