An update on the toobox for the R1150GS toolbox cover. They are made, but we had a problem sourcing the right locks for them. We have now sourced the locks but they need a slight adjustment to them so they lock securely.

This will be done in the next few weeks. Then they will be coated and a good stock will be made up.

Hi TT. No they can't I'm afraid, but we are in process of designing some as I am fittint the Hellas to my R1150GS. So they will be coming at some point, but I can't promise a date as yet.

Hi there Chunk,

Hoping you might be able to make a bit for me. Namely a reinforcing bracket for the front panel carrier on a r1150gs. Basically mine was all mangled when i brought it and i have managed to plastic weld it back together but im a bit ... scared... of going above 80 on it or over big holes etc. Was hoping to get some sort of lightweight aluminium reinforcement brackets to bolt from underneath the beak to the screen pivot. I could draw it all up in cad or produce a 3d cad model if that helps at all. I think there might be a niche market for these also as i believe the panel carriers are quite common to break.. and this mod might save people having to replace them. Aside from that, it would probably look quite smart

Lovely Stuff

I ordered
a bunch of stuff for my 1200 GS from Ruggedroads and Must say its looks bloody brilliant

I got all the unnessecary bling for the bike and in black offcourse :

front Brake back brake resevoir and clutch guard , footstand extender and the lovely throttel potentiometer cover and oilcooler cover in black.

I must say that I was a bit reluctant with the radiotor cover as it seemd to have a very large logo on it , but after installation it looks really bloody good

very classy hehehe

Anyways I hope he starts making more bling for the GS as I believe he is the best competition to Touratech .

We do have another new product from today - Rear Brake Master Cylinder Guard

This fits all R1200GS and GSA. All R1150GS and GSA.

I've got one on my R1150GS and they look great. I was going to post a picture of it on the bike here, but the boys have told me my bike's far too dirty, so I'll do it at the weekend when I get a chance to clean her.

Like all of our products, the guard is made from hard anodised aluminium and only take a few minutes to fit. Cost £20.00 plus postage.

I'm told that the 1200 guards will fit the F650gs singles too

I've not tried this personaly, but it were a BW Techi guy told me.

Still awaiting a centre stand cover for my 1100GS - Annette assures me they are under development - just crossing my fingers, and hoping........!!
