Brake Res & clutch Res Guards

Here are the first photos of the prototypes for the front brake res and clutch res guards.
The two will be in production by the end of the week with items ready for supply early the week after.
Both guards are made from 2.5 thk NS4h3 al alloy and will come in hard anodise silver, black anodise or black powder coat.
The guards will come in at £12.50 each and as per usual post and packing is all included in the price.:thumb2

The photos are of the development items. The finished items will be cnc folded and finished as per the rest of my items.
Hope you like them.;)

Hello Chunk,

Are the bolts holding the sump guard on recessed? Particularly if you bottom out which I always do off-road.

Thanks,

B

Recessed bolts

Hello Chunk,

Hi Bob

The bolts on the production guards will be recessed to make the bottom of the guard flat.
There are also some strengthening ribs formed in the bottom (a little like the original BMW plate)
There not shown on this plate as I didn't have enough machine time on Saturday morning to put them in.:thumb

Hello Mozza
Knocked this one up this morning.
Have made the front higher and added the two corner sections as per your thoughts.
Tried it with the BMW exhaust and looks like I will have to make two types. There are to many differences to just make one type.:blast

I should have both types complete by the end of this week.:thumb

More items coming very very soon.

Hey Chunk, looking good, and it looks as though it`ll cover the orginal BMW exchaust cross piece.

Do you plan on welding the v piece fold or just leaving it open ?

Will the splashguard attache to it or bolt on as a different piece.

Gimme a price and you`ll have your 1st order. :clap

Hello Mozza

The front v piece will be welded in, I just didn't have the time to finish the guard on Saturday and also wanted to post some photos of the development.
I didn't take any photos with my beemer pipe on :blast but it does completley cover the cross pipe.

The splash guard will be a seperate item that bolts onto the front of the plate and will have another couple of fixing points.

Price of the sump guard will be £60 and price for the splash guard will be £40.
As per usual prices include p&p and finish of either black powder coat, black anodise or silver hard anodise.:thumb

As soon as I have some photos of the splash guard I'll post them.

Odds and Ends

This stuff is great! Swift delivery (putting TT to shame) and in my humble opinion, far better quality.

I hope you get round to producing QD paniers/topboxes if the prices are keen i think they would fly out the door lookin at the quality of your work:thumb

1100 & 1150 bits

Any news on the lockable tool cover lid for the 1150?

Thanks for being patient. I will have my tape measure going over Veronas 1150 this weekend with the priority being the tool box cover, side stand extension and TPC guard.
As soon as I have some finished products I'll post them and pm you.

Very Impressive looking parts you have made there, and more importantly they look like they serve a purpose rather than being just eye candy unlike some manufacturers.

I will be looking to buy a fair few useful bits for my 1150 GSA, once youve got the initial rush of people out of the way, that are working you to the bone.

By the way,can you make " splash guards " to cover the front of the lower engine/generator cover......ive made one myself in 2 mm checker plate with my laughable metal bending skills....its a blunted inverted pyramid shape, that bolts onto the normal belly plate and secures to my crash bars with jubilee clips as they cross my generator cover ( i got hepco and becker full crash bars ) it works but it looks as bad as it is actually made......just to deflect light debris and mud.

If you need a 1150 GSA to match or measure....give me a call,im not all that far from bournemouth,no trouble for me to scoot down........and that could solve the problem of my mental incapability of getting my paypal working.

of course if i ever get paypal to work for me ill become a registered member again and be able to send PM's as well.

And I am another 1100 owner awaiting a list of goodies to choose from:D

Chuck,
I have an 850 GS which is identical to the 1100gs, if need a bike to measure up for parts than give me a shout.
I live in Bournemouth.

1150 Throttle pot guard

Verona has some photos for me of the first throttle pot fit. As soon as I get them I'll post them on the site.:type
Thanks for the offer seamaster, I might be taking you up on that one.:thumb

I have attached the first photos of the pukka front brake and clutch res guards in black anodise for the 1200.

Hope you like em.
