The throttle position sensor guards......do they fit using the same holes as the TPS itself?

The most common problem with them getting hit isn't a question of destruction, it's that they get knocked out of alignment and the bike runs like a total dog.....

Would someone mind confirming where the attachment points are please? (If it's not on the adjustment points I'll have some...if it is, could we have some mounted on other places please? )

I was thinking the same thing but was wondering if I was daft mentioning it.
(Didn't know if this particular part where being sought after for bling rather than practicality)

They are using the mounting holed for the TPS. These are thru holes (through the TPS) to the Alu body.

I've got one from Chunk and was always a sceptic of these protectors, but for 12quid it will offer more protection with than without.

Can't see any proctical cheap way to mount off anything else unless you make something like the elongated head protector for the HP2 ... Although going by Chunk's previous pricing he'll probably sell for about 50p

Thanks for the comments your are posting about my items.
The 1150 stuff is still on the drawing board as I'm a bit pushed at work due to a colleague leaving a little rapidly.

To answer Fanums question,the throttle tpc cover does fit using the two existing holes through the tpc. Exactly the same way as the TT mcgun)and WL covers.

I'll take a look at trying to fix it on another way.

Thanks for that Chunk.....I can take any pics or measurements you'd like if that would be any good- I take Padge's point about some protection to the body of the TPS irself being better than nothing, however I'd be a little worried about the extra layer adding to the likelihood of the unit being twisted on the axis of the rod and affecting the running.

It may well be that the best way of protecting it may be to have an extension from the cylinder head protectors.....it's what I'm going to do to the Touratwat guards I got today 'cos I've had recent experience of a bike running badly when just the above happened, plus I've kicked out the connector under the TPS several times when coming off the bike
