We're closing down the old "Odds & Ends" threads as it is now absolutely huge and rather out of date. So, you'll now find a different thread for each of the GS bikes so you don't have to wade through loads of post that are not relevant to your bike.

We've taken a long, hard look at our manufacturing costs and, we are pleased to let you know that we have managed to reduce the prices on some of our guards for the R1150GS and GSA.

We've also just finished our polycarbonate headlight guard and have managed to manufacture them at the great price of just £19.99.

Stainless Steel Light Bar

We've just finished production on our latest product for the R1150GS and R1150GSA.

It's an Auxiliary Light Bar, designed by us and made here in the UK, from 4mm laser cut brushed stainless steel.

It has plenty of holes so you can easily attach all of the wiring and you can fit up to 4 lights in total on this bar.

It takes 5 minutes to fit and the bolts and spacers required are included.

We've just finished testing and have manufactured our first batch of the headlight guards for the R1150GS and R1150GSA.

All fixings are included and you can mount it on its own or with our polycarbonate headlight guard.

Under Seat Accesssory Mount

Here's another new and tested product for you R1150GS and R11150GSA - an Under Seat Accessory Mount.

So, if you're having difficulty finding somewhere to mount your accessories – such as Autocom, Starcom, Centech Auxiliary Fuse Block, etc? We’ve designed and manufactured this simple bracket which mounts quickly and easily in the space at the rear of your fuel tank.

Designed and manufactured by Rugged Roads here in the UK, the bracket is made from 2mm black powdercoated aluminium.

We have not added any additional holes in the bracket, so you can drill and fit your accessories as you wish.

No additional fixings are required as this bracket mounts using the existing fittings and is shaped to allow your Diagnostic Plug to remain in exactly the same place.

The bracket fits the following models:
- BMW R1150GS – All Models
- BMW R1150GSA – All Models

Is the top of the plate just loose or does it tuck under the battery strap? would be good if went under strap as would make it a bit more secure.

no need for it to sit under the strap mate its quite secure enough ,,ive had the test piece on mine for a good while now with no issues

If attaching an Autocom unit to it, is it attached to the side facing out? If so are there any issues or problems in relation to getting the seat back on??

Good point, is it also big enough to take a fuse holder and Autocom.
I appreciate that there are different sizes of the above but advice would be appreciated.

i'll sort a quick photo later, all ive got on mine at the mo is the power lead inline fuse box for my bags connect tank bag .ill offer up my autocom (thats not fitted yet) need more time to farkle.

I had one of those fuse box holders before on my 1150GSA made by a chap in Canada. A fair bit more expensive than the one above I think.

Anyways, great bit of kit. I had a Centech fusebox and 3/4 relays attached to mine. Very very neat. Not sure though would it fit an Autocom and fuse holder as there's not a huge amount of space on the back.

I'd highly recommend it to folks. Best place on an 1150 to put a fusebox.

(oh... and when will we have an odds and ends thread for the 1100GS? )

Fatter Foot

Sorry it's been a bit hit and miss on your being able to order these, but we had a slight rethink on the materials used. They are now back in stock.

The main change is that they now come with a stainless steel baseplate.

The Fatter Foot gives an additional 11mm of lift, which might not sound much but makes a huge difference.

It's been a while but we've now got these amazing LED tail/brake lights back in stock. We've all got them on our bikes and the difference in brightness is absolutely amazing.

They have been upgraded and improved. The boards now contain 36 LEDs with an additional 6 white LEDs for the number plate illumination.
