Ferchrist sake, look at the number of specials and modifications on these babies. My Tuv inspection man gives me a hard time on the type of tyres I've got and the Y pipe fitted. Total Barsteward!

Edit: I think what can work so well with airheads is the ability for them to look so 'stripped down' ie just a frame, engine, wheels and seat/tank and lots and lots of fresh air through the gaps - well, it works for me

I brought it from the man that started this thread... I think it does have a link to SPC. I'm sure Johnny will be along soon to fill in the detail.

The bikes currently with Bernie Wright being prep'd for the 2009 Heroes Legend - Bigger tank, roadbook, and lots of little tweaks and fixes

Built in Belgium actually and raced in Holland to be precise

Some of the bikes pictured have what looks like a bolt head in the centre of the bevel box, whereas my Airheads had a blank casting there.

Something to do with adjusting the small taper roller bearing in there ?

What is it please ?????

NOPE them be TWIN shock pre monolevers my young apprentice, they have an Axle

The photo on your avatar.......is that when the Bike was in Holland?.......I think that I recall the Bike............but I knew John Gilbride when he had the Bike, (he was looking for a Basic), and I thought that he said that he bought the Bike off a guy in Germany through a contact he had at BMW Germany
