Some R1300 GS bargains

Anyone else read that as "Our typical owners can't shift for shit, so we are doing it for them"
Nope. But I read your reply as ‘I’m a vain biker and need a clutch to be a man . I’m also not yet ready for a big scoot as they are beneath me ‘ 😜

I mainly bought my Wing DCT because of the auto box, having had both AT and ATAS DCTs and loved them .
The DCT boxes are ace and certainly add to riding enjoyment .
Sounds like the BMW version still needs a bit of fine tuning though .

Ahh, but sir would be wrong, as I've had a scoot and an Africa Twin DCT, and I have to say I really enjoyed the DCT, it was one of the things that got sold when I had to surrender my license after the brain tumour, and I was unable to work for 6 months so anything not nailed down was sold :)

I was really just having a dig at the marketing blurb being used, there is nothing wrong at all with an Auto transmission, and I really like DCT's, and as for vain ................... nah, not in the slightest, that's really not me.

Auto cars all day long for me. I'd possibly take a look at a asa if i change, won't be for a couple of years so they may have refined it by then

Both gearboxes have their place.

Automatic better for efficiency of movement. (i.e. I can't be bothered)

Manual more engaging for enthusiastic driving "feeling" when the mood takes.

Have a couple of each and just select which you prefer on the day is my recommendation.

You bastard . I feel like a cúnt now !!

Hope you’re fit and well these days

Bang on and I totally agree. Never heard so much bullocks being put into writing on a subject of gear changing…. Incredible……
Fekkin muppetry in its extreme……
Hazelden is a prize cockwomble. His mentor must have been Jon Urry, who’s face just needs punching 😜

Slurry writes some utter shite. Don’t think I’ve ever agreed with a single thing he’s written. And I’m very unopinionated and chilled.
God knows what some of you gobby cùnts must think of him 🤔😜

I was in the same Motorrad dealer the weekend before last and they had a used r1300gsa for sale, TE spec ,ASA ,forged wheels , white/red/blue paint scheme, registered in March 2025 with only 1600 miles on the clock and one owner from new for £16,500.

Somebody has taken one hell of a hit on that bike for 1600 miles of motoring

I had a pal ( yes incredible as it sounds….) when I was in my 20’s living in Southampton. Great guy but when he had a drink a Fekkin nightmare to be with as he was always looking for a punch up…..and he would always start one by going up to the person in the pub who he thought had the face right for a smacking and do just that…. I or one of the others had to get him out and the amount of landlords we would be apologising to the next day became exhaustive….. after a while we just had to go out without him…..
He’d have loved that face above……🤣🤣🤣🤣
