I prefer manual cars, always have.

I remember when we where looking at new cars last year. I wanted manual Jo wanted automatic, Jo wanted 1500cc I wanted 2 litre. (Volvo XC 40) We compromised on 2litre automatic petrol. I honestly would not go back to a manual car.

I can’t see the attraction of auto bikes, rode a couple (DCT) but always seem to be a compromise. Love a quick shifter but generally happy with less interference than more

Agreed . Hideous thing .
I couldn’t give a flying fuck what my car looks like as I buy them for ease of use and purpose .
Don’t think I’ve ever bought a bike with my head , as it needs to generate a second glance back when parking in garage . For me the only current BMW bikes I like the look of are the F900GS in the like green /red frame get up and the 12 G/S but not in that horrid beige puke
