We, at Rugged Roads, have been beavering away quietly, working on some protection items and accesories for your F800GS and F650GS.

From Monday 17th November 2008, available from www.ruggedroads.co.uk will be the following items:

Headlight Guard
Fat Foot For The Side Stand
Regulator/Rectifier Guard
Rear Rack
Rear Brake Reservoir Guard
Rear Splash Plate
Radiator Guard

The items are designed and the first pieces have been made and tested.

We are now producing stocks, and they will be available for sale from Monday 17th November.

Pictures will be available as soon as they have been coated - this will be during week commencing 10th November. You will also have a choice of places to buy them from:

Rugged Roads - www.ruggedroads.co.uk
MotorWorks - www.motorworks.co.uk
South London Motorrad - www.southlondonbmw.co.uk

This is our first pass production and we will be making more items.

Is there anything you would like on your F800GS and F650GS? You're the guys and girls who ride them everyday. If there is, drop me a PM and I'll pass it on to Chunk.

Here are the pictures of the first batch of items for the F800GS and we believe they will also fit the F650GS Twin but are just checking the fit now. These items should be available in the shop by the end of November at the latest. As soon as we have a definite date I'll post it here

This is the same as the others we manufacture for the rest of the BMW range but slightly smaller.

Soon as we get time, we will be manufacturing more items.

Has anyone fitted a rear splash plate to their F800 GS? Got any pictures? the screw holes on my licence plate(3) didn't line up with the holes of the splash guard. There are 7 holes on the splash guard and 3 on my licence plate.

I had a quick look this lunchtime in the freezing cold and was keen to get the job done but I didn't have time to faff so called it quits after 10 minutes.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Cheers
