Poor fella not only got his bike stuck and fell into the ditch, but when he walked off in disgust, he fell into another ditch

Good advert for electric start too:D

I think he looked the wrong side of 60 as well, but poor sod must have kicked the bike over 20+ times

Ahem..........................

£3995 OTR or thereabouts

Some XR250's (imports) have leccy start

Mine usually starts within 3 kicks, hot/cold or dropped and therefore i'm not bothered about leccy start - more to go wrong and if you're down a boggy lane and your battery goes flat, what you gonna do then

Fair enough

I suppose the leccy start stuff & the pillion stuff accounts for a lot of the 20kgs

Funny why leccy start is seen as vital nowadays on a small dirt bike as in evolution terms we're losing the ability to kickstart even a small 125/250 cc 4T bike nowadays

Gonna have a look on adv rider now for the CRF250L stuff

;)

I hope you're not implying here JB that people of certain ages should not do this trail riding malarky.

Although I have to say this video is a reminder of why I now prefer easy trails.

Well if JB is, he'll soon be hitting that certain age himself......the old sod

Not at all, I think the fella did very well to keep his cool, under pressure

I knew someone would bring it up:D

:P

Still a fan of kickers though:thumb

I know what you mean. No way I'd ever have a bike with just leccy boot for riding trails, but then there's no reason why you can't have both.

Having said that the only time I drained a battery on the trail I spent so long kicking it over that just as it caught (and instantly died:mad: ) I snapped the sodding kick start and had to push it out anyway!:blast

If you look carefully he didn't fall into the ditch after getting off the bike

he got off to walk up to the cameraman and shouldered HIM into the ditch then said - "turn the camera on yourself now"

Funny as fcuk :jes

Funny as folk ...
We have a cameraman ...... But he never gets ridiculed !!
Good reason for getting a camera I suppose.

Is it just me?

Is it just me or doesent anyone else think that after the firts minute the cameraman should have gone and lent a hand. Seems a bit of a **** to me to just stand around laughing when the guy was obviously in trouble.

nah - there were plenty of his 'mates' around.

On most ride outs Ive been on with 'mates' from here if (=when) I fell off the first thing anyone did was whip out the cameras. Has to be done. :thumb

(and the camera man got his in the end :D )

It is.................but nowadays when someone crashes, everybody grabs a camera and then sees if the faller is ok

First rule of trailriding = Pics or it didn't happen:D

Got to agree with you. I think it is awful that he lets the poor chap struggle :toungincheek

Ha ha .. good video :thumb2

Speed is your friend. See, if he'd hit the boggy puddle at twenty miles an hour he wouldn't have got stuck in it in the first place ... :D
