Bob Porecha has come up with what I think is a cracking bit of kit, so I want to pass the word. He looked after us with all things mechanical when we were travelling so this is a chance to return the honours.
It’s an exhaust nut spanner for airheads. It’s made from 5mm thick stainless steel, and it’s flat and compact so it’ll be very easy to carry.
One of the issues I had with the traditional spanner for this task was that the bloomin’ things bent far too easily. Yes I know one should keep the nuts greased, but that doesn’t always do enough.
They are £18.50p each incl VAT and as an introductory offer Bob will post free of postage change to all UK post codes. You can order direct from Bob Porecha Tel: 020 8659 8860 303 Sydenham Road , London SE26 5EW GB or [email protected] It’s also available from www.motobins.co.uk .
Pukka bit of kit. I’ll be bringing mine to Sid’s airhead weekend in case anyone has doubts – but you know if Bob and Motorworks are involved then…
NB The square in the handle is to insert a torque wrench or T bar into for additional leverage.
