I had this for a day to MOT for my Friend as he was getting ready to go to Brazil

What a lovely machine

Anyone notice the non standard bits I'll give ya a clue it came out of a factory in germany 3 or 4 years ago NEW parts all round

I think there are a few more non standard parts than that not many standad parts left and much of what looks standard is moded does need the rear brake lever mod though and how will you fit panniers ? where is he going to keep the brew kit I quite like it

I wish Bryn BUT I saw the number of zeros and nearly schat myself There were quite a few more strops on the trailer on the way from his gaff I can tell ya!

Hmm! Looks nice. Not too sure about the rear mudguard though and the tail light look well odd. Don't think it fits too well on the shorty subframe either.

Electronic speedo/revcounter head, fitted behind the ISDT type deflector makes the front end look better than the previous factory models too.

Twin plugging's good. Wonder if the heads have been gas flowed as well I reccon 1150 handguards would look better though.

Funky looking bike. Headlamp looks like shite, as do pretty much all of the enduro fronts on the boxer twins The rear mud guard on the other hand I think is a fine compliment to the (otherwise rather unsightly) paralever rear end... It's certainly better than most of the silly acerbis/ufo guards that quite literally look like someone threw them on during their lunch break

Seriously the last type of vehicle to take abroad.

Basic, standard, inconspicious is what I would take.

That will just draw the crims and give endless hassle if things go wrong.

I'd be happy to take it off his hands.

That is absolutely gorgeous and almost a shame to get dirty (almost!!). I've seen the Seibennnrock price list and can understand just how many zeros on the end of the bill but top quality workmanship by fanatics...... I like the paint too

How dare you.......I have the acerbis guard

Love it from the back, awful from the front mostly due to the rather pathetic looking headlight and scrunched boots on the forks.

Is that BMW emblem on the mudguard or rear battery?

Can I get a seat like that to fit the G/S (I have the tank), by the investigations done to days answer seems to be no?
