Somewhere for 20th anniversary?

Looking for 2 nights 25-26 july in a decent hotel in a radius of about 50ish miles from Lincoln.
I've thought of York, Harrogate, Norwich, Cambridge. I've tried laterooms and lastminute but the prices are

Maybe go as much as £75 per night which needs to include full english, not your continental jam and bread.
Any ideas - doesn't have to be a well known hotel, maybe a really good inn with a good restaurant?

Stayed here earlier in the year. Excellent place / the full works for breakfast, even has a reserved parking spot for guests. It's literally 5 minutes walk from the Minister. £70 per night for the two of us. We'd certainly go back again.

Hotel

Try Ibis Hotel in Shipley just over road from Allan Jefferies, leeds liverpool canal next to it. Train into Leeds £6 return for two, Best Indian resturant in the area just over the road "Sharma". Witherspoons near what more do you want. Word of warning breakfasts are crap!

Perhaps a little too near to Lincoln for you ?

But then again people travel from all over the country to stay with Paul & Shelley - not least because Paul is a superb chef , and a weekend there will have you addicted & returning again & again .
