Round 'n' round in circles.........
When I used to plug my Sony DSC-P10 camera into the USB port, the PC used to detect said device automatically.

But now, for some unknown reason it will not detect it.

To access pictures now, I need to explore the C drive and open the pictures from there?

Any clues as to why this should suddenly have started happening pls?

But more importantly, what do I do to get it to doing it start again???

No clue at all Alan, you are speking in a strange language|!
Are you at the pig do?

Firstly, make sure that the camera is switched ON before you plug the lead in to it.

When this sort of thing happened to me, it was because the camera s/ware had got 'corrupted'.

Unplug the camera, reinstall the s/are from the relevant CD and hopefully you'll be rewarded!
