These are peripheral drives that I purchased for my small Sony Vaio laptop, which kept the weight down.
I tested them both this morning on a Windows laptop and they work fine. There are a couple of very minor marks, but they are so small the camera couldn't pick them up.
Specifications can be seen by using doing a search on Google using the Vaio part numbers. No original boxes I'm afraid.

£45 for the DC drive
£15 for the 3.5" drive
£55 for both
Prices inc.P&P to UK address.
Payment via PP F&F please.

The CD drive. Is it one you can plug into another computer with a wire? What kind of wire plug do I need to plug into my laptop please? If it will plug in, like a seperate hard drive does, I will have it. But as you can tell, I am clueless about any of this technology stuff. I just do what I can do, mostly parrot fashion because I don't understand what I am doing, I just remember the sequences.

The CD drive connects to a computer via a PCMCIA slot (looks like a big credit card sized port). You can see the connecter attached to the drive in the photos. The computer will automatically recognise it as an additional external drive once it is plugged in.
If your computer doesn't have the slot, you can buy a PCMCIA to USB converter from Amazon, eBay etc.
I hope this helps.
