Sooty exhaust

I have noticed that my exhaust has got quite a lot of black soot on it, what does this mean ?? Is it an indication that the bike is running lean or rich, or something else? I have an Akra end can with the baffel in.

Thats just an indication that your bike is running a bit rich (too much fuel in the mix). this is not a problem. If your bike was running lean however (too much air in the mix), thats when you need to be careful.

I Have an Akra Can with baffle in, remus headers, Green filter and Power controller on my 12 and she runs a bit rich...

Running rich, could be plenty of things making it run rich. When did you last have it serviced, air filter blocked?

mine is the same remus can and y piece baffle in soot at end of pipe
and they say that there is no fueling issues as the cans are matched mmmmmmm

The best fix is loads of throttle and a good long blast, soon turns grey.
