The Strandloper (beachcomber) restaurant on the beach at Langebaan, just south of Paternoster, has a very good reputation.

Nice motor otherwise pretty flawed .
Screen is utter crap . Riding back at 130 kph today . Just stopped for coffee and 10 minutes after stopping I’ve still got pins and needles in my forearms and hands .
Didn’t feel the vibes whilst riding .
Worse trait - weighs a fucking ton and stupidly heavy to get off side stand or move around , even when down to 1/3 fuel .

Link pipe to fit on Voge and farkles to fit on Vstrom involving tank removal then probable mini road trip ( 4 wheels ) next weekend .Will be a bit colder than The Cape though .
Back in Cape Town next month but not going to rent a bike as Don only has BMWs and they’re a bit shite .
Mate is on the trip too so wine tasting and boozy lunch beckons .

Thanks for the Cape Town report. I'm planning to go in just under 2 years time, with the Barmy Army to watch England triumph over the saffies. The plan is for 4 of us who went to India last year to take in 2 test matches. Hopefully Cape Town and 1 other, but it will depend on the cricket timetable. I've not been to South Africa and am already looking forward to it.

As I said, catching up on a backlog of magazines. I had over 4 months of Computer and bike magazines to catch up on after having spent most of the Winter out of the country.You only just discovered it?
