Bloody hell only went for a bike ride the last two nights. Didn't think too much of it on Monday night but today....
Order some tobinators - should hopefully sort this out!!
And I thought sportbikes were bad!
Any idea the best settings for them - 5'10" person me.

Tobinator settings

I've got mine on the 3rd notch up from the bottom with the back of the screen on it's highest setting. Also I use a Touratech spoiler on top. All in all you still get some buffeting (As with any set up the amount and direction of the prevailing wind makes a fair difference) but my visor stays a lot cleaner and longer journeys are less tiring.

Try it and let us know how you get on.

screen with Tobers fitted RG12

Same ht as you.I have the screen in its most extreme position i.e.as high as poss at front (large gap under it) and as low as poss at rear. As much like a sports bike as poss, head largely in the wind. It just lightly fouls body work on full lock. I only do fastish road riding.

Standard screen, 5'9", 3 off the top position, 2700 miles and in heaven.....

Craig...can't help specifically with positions for the 12 but I gather it's similar to that of the 1150's/Adv positioning in that there's a very small window of 'good' adjustment.

On my adv, there's a big difference in buffeting reduction with only a small amount of screen movement, then an inch later it goes back out of the 'eye of the storm'.

The point is, when you get them, set aside an hour or two, take your allen keys and bike to a long stretch of road and try lots of different positions, varying them a little at a time to find the sweet spot.

They do work though.......very very well ;)

Same as Blackburn Lee. The Touiratech extension together with the Tobinators provides a very comfortable ride. Able to ride with visor up if i wish.
