Guys, some urgent technical info please which must be correct.
1200RT 2011 CAMHEAD. Rear brake piston seals pissing out brake fluid. If we let it run dry and clean everything will it have any effect on the front brake fluid or front brake.
Obviously they are partially linked but not like the old EVO brakes that I am conversant with.
If it doesn't have any effect on the front brake fluid and front brake then I see no point in keep topping up the rear for it to piss out.??????
Then we can limp it to a BMW dealer?????

i'd be tempted to crimp up the rear brake hose, or maybe better, a nut, bolt, washers to try and seal the banjo, until i could get the parts to rebuild the caliper.

Thanks for that, that was exactly the suggestion I made.
The rear caliper is empty and everything is still ok on the front.
Apparently the bike was only serviced 2 weeks before we left home and they found one of the rear pots seized then and unseized it and now it has leaked the fluid out, good sevice, NOT!
Anyway thanks again for the advice.
