Sorry.. DOHC oil question.

I had exactly the same problem, demonstrator GS , and Cannons sorted out replacement rings under warranty. which has solved the problem. It now sips oil rather than having to top it up after every run.

I have heard its better to ride them hard, the rings bed in much better and form a better seal in the bore so less oil passes by and so much less gets burnt / used!
People run em in tooo gently.
Only what I've heard ????

Mine have used hardly any oil this way.
